Bayern Munich Confirm Hamstring Injury for Alphonso Davies

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Alphonso Davies will be sidelined after sustaining a hamstring injury during their 3-0 Champions League defeat to Feyenoord on Wednesday night.

Davies’ Injury & Recent Struggles

The Canadian left-back suffered the injury late in the first half of the match. This setback comes just weeks after returning from a thigh injury, which had already kept him out of action for a significant period last month.

Bayern released an official statement regarding his condition:

“Alphonso Davies sustained a muscle strain in his left hamstring in the Champions League match at Feyenoord. This was confirmed by a scan carried out by the FC Bayern medical staff.”

However, the club did not provide a specific timeline for his return.

Bayern’s Growing Injury List

Davies is not the only key player missing from Thomas Tuchel’s squad. The Bundesliga giants are also dealing with the following injuries:

🔴 Joao Palhinha – Out since November with an abductor muscle injury.
🔴 Daniel Peretz – Sidelined with a kidney contusion.
🔴 Sacha Boey – Yet to return after suffering a ligament injury last month.

Upcoming Fixtures

Despite their injury concerns, Bayern Munich remain top of the Bundesliga and will face Freiburg on Saturday as they look to maintain their position in the title race.
